Know who has paid, before the term is half over.
School management software for Nigerian schools. Fees and receipts, attendance, results and report cards, and parent messaging all sit on one record your whole staff works from — so nobody rebuilds the debtor list by hand every Monday. From ₦100 per student per month, in naira.
We set your school up with you. No setup fee, no lock-in contract.

Every term
Your school already holds all this information. You just cannot see it.
None of this is a problem in week one. It becomes one by week three, when the register, the cash book and the WhatsApp group have quietly stopped agreeing with each other.
It is week four and nobody can tell you who has not paid
The receipt booklet is in the bursar’s drawer, the bank statement is on her laptop, and the transfer screenshots are in a WhatsApp folder. Putting the three together takes most of a day, so the debtor list you are handed is always about a week behind the money.
Results week means teachers with calculators
CA scores sit in one book and exam scores in another, so one teacher spends the night before collection day retyping both into report cards. A single mark keyed wrong is a parent in your office on Saturday morning.
Every question comes through your office
Has my son’s fee cleared. What was his position last term. Did the bus get there. Every one of those is a phone call, and every call lands on the same two or three people who are already doing something else.
You find out at the end of term
Enrolment, collection and arrears get reconstructed after the fact, out of books that closed weeks earlier. By the time the figures finally agree with each other, the term you could have done something about is over.
Fees
Every naira, on one screen.
- Open the debtor list on your phone and see who owes, how much, and how long it has been outstanding.
- Record cash and bank transfers against the student’s record and issue a numbered receipt.
- Receipt numbers run in one unbroken sequence per year, so the parent can show one and you can trace it years later.
- Record part-payments and extra levies against the same student, so one screen carries the whole balance.
Parents can pay online through supported Flutterwave methods. Takadar verifies every transaction before issuing a numbered receipt, and takes no cut of what your school collects.

What else is inside
Everything a Nigerian school needs to run the term, on the same record.
Admissions
Take an applicant from first enquiry to a seat in a class — guardians, documents and admission number attached to one record you never retype.
Timetable and academics
Build the term’s timetable once and every teacher opens their own; spot the class three lessons behind while there is still time to fix it.
Attendance and diary
The register is marked in class. Absences are recorded against the child’s record the moment it is submitted, and the guardian sees them in the parent portal.
Results and report cards
CA and exam scores, class position, and report cards printed the way your parents expect to see them.
Messaging and notices
Send one notice to a class, an arm, or every parent in the school. It lands in the parent portal — SMS is on the roadmap and is not live yet.
Transport and hostel
Know which child boarded which bus and who is in which room tonight, without ringing the driver or the matron.
Getting started
From first conversation to your first marked register.
The longest part is loading your students, and that is a spreadsheet import, not typing.

01
Tell us about your school
Takadar is in early access. We set your school up with you: your name, your logo, your 2025/2026 session and its three terms, and your fee structure class by class. Every school is set up and switched on by us rather than by a stranger filling in a form, which is one reason no stranger ends up inside your records.
-
02
Bring across what you already have
Your student and staff lists come in from CSV — download the template, upload the file, check the preview, commit it. Anything the import does not cover yet, we work through with you rather than leaving you to type it.
-
03
Hand it to your staff
Teachers mark attendance and enter scores, the bursar records payments, parents sign in to see their own child, and you watch all of it from one screen.
Your data
Another school can never see your students, your parents, or your money.
Every record in Takadar carries the school it belongs to, and the database itself refuses to hand one school's records to anyone signed in to another. It is not a setting an administrator can switch off by mistake.
Inside your school, the same rule decides who sees what:
- Proprietor Every class and every naira, on one screen.
- Principal or head teacher The whole school day, class by class.
- Bursar Fees, receipts, refunds and this term’s collection.
- Form teacher Only the classes they teach.
- Exams officer Scores, grades and report cards.
- Parent Their own child’s fees, attendance and results.
- Student Their timetable, results and notices.
- Group owner Every school you run, side by side.
Pricing
You pay for the students you actually have.
One rate per student per month, in naira. No per-module licences, no setup fee, no lock-in contract. Our published volume bands lower the rate as enrolment grows, and Takadar takes no cut of the fees you collect.
Enter your student numbers and see what the published rates and bands work out to. An estimate. We confirm your rate in writing before your first invoice.

Questions
What proprietors ask us first.
Can another school see our records?
No. Every record carries the school it belongs to, and the database itself refuses to hand your students, your parents or your payments to anyone signed in to another school. It is not a switch one of your staff — or one of ours — can turn off by mistake, and a release that broke the rule would fail before it ever reached your school.
We have years of records in Excel and in files — who moves them?
It is an upload rather than typing, and it is not a paid extra: download the CSV template for students or staff, upload your file, check the preview Takadar shows you row by row, then commit it. Guardians, outstanding balances and past results are not part of that import yet, so we bring those across with you during setup. Write to hello@takadar.com with what you hold and we will tell you exactly what comes across on its own and what we do by hand.
What if our internet is slow, or the power goes?
Takadar runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install on a teacher’s phone and nothing to update when the power comes back — whoever picks up a phone next signs in and carries on, and pages are built light for a school on mobile data. There is no offline mode: a register or a score sheet has to be submitted while the connection is up, and anything half entered when the line drops has to be entered again.
Will it work on the phones our teachers already have?
Yes. If the phone opens Chrome or Safari, it opens Takadar — there is no app to download, no store account, and nothing for you to install on staff phones. Marking a register and entering scores are meant to be done from a phone in class, not typed up afterwards at a desk.
Our parents do not all have smartphones — how do they hear from us?
Parents use the parent portal to see fees, attendance and results. SMS is on the roadmap and is not live yet, and until it is, Takadar does not text or call anyone on your behalf — the notices you post reach parents when they open the portal.
Does Takadar collect our school fees or take a cut?
Fees settle to your school’s account. Record cash and bank transfers, or let parents use supported Flutterwave methods online; Takadar verifies each online transaction before issuing a numbered receipt. Takadar takes no cut of what your school collects.
If we leave, do we get our data?
Your records are yours. Export your students, fees and payment history whenever you want them, on any plan. Exports come out as CSV — the file your spreadsheet already opens — covering your student list, outstanding fees and the payments you have recorded, and there is no lock-in contract holding you in place while you take them.
Who trains our staff?
We do, alongside you. Takadar is in early access. We set your school up with you, which means the first walk-through of the screens your staff use most — marking a register, recording a payment, entering scores — happens with us rather than out of a manual.
